THE SECOND CITY

The Second City www.secondcity.com  is one the most well know comedy groups in the States and of course, in the second city. The theatre started in 1959 and grew big since, opening other theaters in Toronto, Los Angeles and other cities. Whether you live in the city or just visit, it is a MUST GO to visit the Theatre. In addition you can also eat and drink for a reasonable price. It is located in the Old Town district, easily accessible with the red line. The shows cost 25 bugs and are worth paying for more than three hours of late night show with humor about politics, couple relationships, race and any other taboo topic you can imagine. They are also famous for improvising on the stage, so feel free to ask any topic and they will do it for you

The Second City www.secondcity.com es probablemente uno de los clubs de comedia más conocidos en los USA y por supuesto el más querido por los vecinos de la conocida como la second city, Chicago. El teatro abrió en 1959 y creció exponencialmente, abriendo diversas delegaciones en otras ciudades como Toronto y Los Ángeles. Tanto si vives como si sólo visitas la ciudad, es OBLIGATORIO que vayas a verlos, pasarás un rato agradable aun si no conoces la cultura americana, además puedes cenar y beber cócteles a un precio razonable. El teatro se encuentra en el barrio de Old Town, al norte del Loop, y es fácilmente accesible con la línea roja de metro, en la parada Clark / Division. El show cuesta unos 25 dólares y vale la pena pagarlos por una tres horas de humor sobre temas diversos, política, relaciones de pareja, y otros temas tabú como discriminaciones por cuestiones de raza. Por cierto, son famosos por improvisar, así que si lo deseáis podéis pedirles que toquen cualquier tema, y lo harán encantados.
